ASHEVILLE: Artists Music Guild announces that local Blue’s musician Kat Williams has died

News 13 has learned through the Artists Music Guild that local Blue’s musician Kat Williams has died.

The Artists Music Guild posted on social media on Nov. 12 about Williams’ death, saying she had been a member of the Guild since 2011.

“The Artists Music Guild is sadden by the breaking news of the passing of a true musical legend. Blue’s icon Kat Williams passed away unexpectedly tonight,” the post said. “Kat, who has been a member of the Guild since 2011 has always been and will always be our heart. She was never too tired to help with any charities we were doing, nor was she ever afraid of rolling up her sleeves and jumping in to help our public schools.”  FOR MORE
